Devron Fleet Yards operates at the border of Federation space adjacent to the old Romulan Neutral Zone. A small facility, its focus is on maintenance for regional Starfleet operations, particularly support missions across the border. As such, it serves as the current headquarters to the Fourth Fleet's Task Force 93.

Facilities

The Devron Fleet Yards is a small Federation maintenance facility comprising an Unity class starbase at its core and several docking cradles to accommodate repair and refit of larger starships. The Devron system, in which it is located, lies in the Beta Quadrant, in what was the Romulan Neutral Zone.

It serves as the headquarters of Task Force 93, given its proximity to the colony worlds that are most in need of assistance following the influx of Romulan refugees that were displaced by the Romulan supernova.

The territory of the former Romulan Star Empire is disputed by the splintered Romulan factions, creating more opportunities for mercenaries, warlords, and pirates to exploit the vulnerable populations who reside in the area. Task Force 93 shields the populations in Federation space from such threats and provides assistance to them using its starships based at the Devron Fleet Yards and a host of smaller craft from the starbase.

The main hull of the starbase houses recreational facilities, residences, shops, and cafes with enough capacity to handle both the permanent crew complement of the starbase and the crews of starships undergoing repair or refit.
