Selene Division is a division of the Fourth Fleet operating under Task Force 86 under the command of Captain Radak.

History

After a diagnosis of Tuvan Syndrome Captain Radak was about to retire from Starfleet. He had been serving as a Strategic Operations Officer on Starbase 86 since Frontier Day and the events onboard his ship. Looking forward to a quiet if brief retirement on Vulcan he became convinced that the Klingon Defence Force was gathering forces in a sector of space in The Triangle for an invasion of Romulan territory. The USS Selene was sent, and discovered the force and was fired upon. The Klingons denied this, and nothing came of the incident but the Klingon attack broke up and did not occur.

Radak was thus given a division, tasked with pre-emptive protection of Starfleet's borders. His initial two ships are the USS Selene, and the USS Falcon.
