USS Vesta NCC-82601 is a Vesta-class Federation starship currently assigned to Polaris Squadron within Fourth Fleet Operations. The prototype of her class, the Vesta was assigned in October 2401 to support research activities into phenomena, anomalies, etc. that lie in the far reaches of deep space.
